Hey everybody. If it's your first time on my blog, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Taylor Kelley and I am an online personal trainer, specializing in helping skinny guys get muscle through martial arts, calisthenics, and weightlifting.

What I'm going to be talking about today is the topic of teen fitness. Right now, you might be a teen reading this, or maybe you are a parent trying to find a way to help your son/daughter get into exercise. Whichever your situation is, I'm here to offer you some valuable advice.

Just to give you a little background, I was very very skinny my early days of highschool. I weighed about 125 pounds, stood 5'2 and wasn't sure how to gain muscle. It wasn't until I got serious about my training one summer that I decided to gain as much weight as possible. (I actually had to gain weight to play corner back position in football). By the end of the summer of my junior year, I was 145 pounds, 5'4 (probably because I stood up taller; working out strengthens the muscles in your back which fix posture) and people were shocked at my results. Since then, I've kept the same results ever since.

Teen fitness is a subject I heavily favor because I myself have worked with a vast number of teenagers. For over 6 years, I have taught teenagers martial arts and bodyweight exercises as a career in my community. Not only have I had the privilege of helping teens achieve the physique they wanted, I have also been able to inspire them to make positive lifestyle changes and set good goals that will set them on track.

My experience with working out with teens has always been enjoyable because they are generally already motivated people. Now, I would say that with the advancement in technology at our finger tips as well as an obesity epidemic that's steadily increasing, personal training is a must for teens. But there's a catch.....ITS TOO FRIGGIN EXPENSIVE!

Is it realistic for a teen to invest that much money into personal training? Heck no! Especially considering that in-person personal training at a big box gym is what most people are stuck with. Some trainers are great, but the problem is that most gyms don't really care about hiring trainers that give results; only those that just sell. I know that when I was a teen, spending any money on fitness was the last thing on my mind...or not even on my mind. I knew that I just wanted to get in shape, MY way. What made me different than all my other friends who tried getting bulked up is that I actually pulled it off. Since then I have used the same formula to help teens get in shape as well. So you can call me the "expert" in teen fitness.

So if you are interested in free workout routines designed for teens by a certified experienced personal trainer, then I recommend you follow these blog posts. I will be offering valuable content with catch, no gimmicks, and most of all NO-Bro science!

Have A Great Day!
