Alright, so you want to know how to get the man of steel physique....and I'm going to give you three key things you should incorporate into your training plan but first, I highly recommend you take time
to subscribe to my youtube channel because I upload free workout routines, nutrition advice, Q&A videos, and each of my subscribers are eligible for a free month of online personal training from me. I pick subscribers randomly so you could be the lucky one who gets high quality training for free.
Anyways, back to the man of steel physique, if you've recently seen batman v superman dawn of justice you probably couldn't help but notice that henry cavil has become bigger than the last time we saw him on screen.
If you happened to watch behind the scenes of man of steel, you probably saw how his training regime was, lots of volume, calisthenics with rest pause intervals, and power lifting. The difference we see now in alot of superhero movies quite frankly is the size of the shoulders. Every superhero
nowadays HAS to have big shoulders. So my first recommendation is to put on massive shoulder size, so how do you do this?
Well it is relatively simple actually, you just need to overload your shoulders with shoulder raises. So one thing I recommend is taking a pretty high weight, something that's a little beyond your threshold for strength and do single arm shoulder raises with support. Sounds crazy, but if you want results the fastest you need to lift heavy. When you lift light weights, it takes much longer for the muscles to fatigue because your body has become so effecient at lifting that lighter weight
it turns into more of an endurance and cardio-esk type of exercise which in itself isn't bad but for the sake of getting the man of steel shoulders not so much.
The second thing you want to do is watch your eating habits. You need to incorporate protein into your diet and need to eliminate unnecessary fats. Now, I'm NOT saying don't eat fat entirely, your body needs fat to survive. What I'm saying is cut out
the little things like maybe the oreos or perhaps the meaty end of the steak. In order to get a large size on you that is toned and strong you need to eat alot of foods that facilitate fast recovery and muscle growth. My biggest recommendation before
you take any supplements is to try a clean eating diet for about a month and see where that takes you. If you aren't seeing results, then it might be time to invest in some protein supplements.
The 3rd thing you want to do is do pull ups....lots of them, with lots of variation. Pull ups in my opinion is probably the most effective body weight exercise that you can use for facilitating muscle growth. Like I said before you want to go for strength
so if you can already do 20 pull ups, I recommend starting to use weights for your pull up strength.
