So school is just around the corner, many teens are going to run out of time to work out because of homework most likely, so I'm going to give you a quick 30 minute workout that will help you stay in shape and get more toned that way you don't end up like a blob during the school year.
Alot of people think that being at the gym at least an hour or an hour and a half is required to get a workout in, when it could never be further from the truth.
People who workout for over an hour USUALLY run into these problems
- they rest too long
- they don't have a plan
- they spend too much time on one exercise
- they are on their phone most of the time
What you need to do is avoid all the mistakes people make and have a plan of attack when you workout so you can get in and get out!
So here's a workout I recommend you follow. You're only going to do a handful of exercises but because they are timed there won't be any room for wasting time.
Here's your workout:
Pushups - 30 seconds
Planks - 1 minute
V Ups - 30 seconds
Wall Sit - 1 Minute
Barbell Bicep Curl - 30 Seconds
Rope Tricep Extension - 30 seconds
Shoulder raise - 30 seconds
Goblet Squat - 30 seconds
Leg Press - 30 seconds
Renegade Rows - 30 seconds
Machine Chest Press - 30 Seconds
Seated Rows - 30 seconds
So as you can see...you can do this workout in literally 7 minutes. I recommend you try this and let me know how it goes. I'll see you guys next time!
Best,
Taylor Kelley
